Description

Light, zesty, fresh, and perfect for summer entertaining, a limoncello spritz is always a good idea. Just combine limoncello, prosecco, and soda, then serve up with fresh garnishes. Perfect to scale up for parties.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Ice
  • 50ml limoncello
  • 60ml prosecco
  • 40ml soda water

To serve (optional) -

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Make the spritz. Fill your glass about ⅔ full with ice. Pour over the limoncello, then top with the prosecco and soda water. Stir, then top with lemon slices and fresh mint if you like. Serve right away.

Notes

INGREDIENT NOTES: You can use any sparkling white wine here – or even champagne. Play around with the quantities of prosecco and soda if you like – add more soda if you think it’s too strong, or more prosecco if you’d like it boozier.

MAKING IT FOR A CROWD? This is a lovely cocktail to serve up while entertaining in summer. Use the 3-2-1 ratio – 3 parts prosecco, 2 parts limoncello, 1 part soda. For a crowd, go for 1 bottle of prosecco, 2 cups of limoncello and 1 cup of soda. Add the ice to the serving cups, rather than the cocktail itself.
