Description
No plate of dumplings is complete without a gorgeously balanced dipping sauce. This one uses cupboard staples and is ready in less than five minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chilli oil
- 4 teaspoons black vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 scallions (spring onions), finely sliced
Instructions
- Mix your sauce. Add all your ingredients to a small bowl, then mix well to combine.
- Serve. Enjoy with your favourite dumplings, or steamed buns.
Notes
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: The sauce will keep well for at least 1 week, stored in the fridge.
INGREDIENT NOTES: Swap the black vinegar for rice vinegar, white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar if you like. You can use tamari instead of soy sauce.
